New Zealand has a long history of producing highly talented International Referees. These include John Young, Greg Burmester, Craig and Chrissie Elliot, Tristan Reynard, Dave Parore, Rob Feist, Chris Meek, and Murray Brooks (who held the position of Worlds Referee for many years).
At the National level there is a strong group of experienced referees who generously give their time to referee at tournaments in New Zealand.
